No really, think about it. What is better - the studio coming to you or you driving to the studio with a newborn ? In-home studio will win in most of the cases.
1. You get to be so RELAXED...
The lifestyle photo session will alleviate all the nerves that come when you get ready for a posed shoot. When you are at home, you are in your cozy corner, your comfy room or your bouncy couch. It is YOURS. And in it, you are you, relaxed and peacefully happy. That is the best way to get photographed.
2. You want your home to be the MAIN CHARACTER of your photographs.
Home is where all of it happens. Morning hugs and sendoffs, kisses against the kitchen counter, gentle embraces besides the crib, and the steamy family arguments in the living room. You want to remember this phase just as it is with the backdrop of nothing but the walls of your own blessed home.
3. To avoid a CAR RIDE.
With little messy eaters and light nappers, who is looking for another trip buckled in those car seats. And most of the days, Montreal weather isn’t on our side to make things easier for our young family photo shoots.
4. You want the photo to tell YOUR STORY.
When I walk through the doors of my clients, I hear stories, as a photographer. I hear tales of the first vacation they took together, stories of their childbirth, their silly fights, the hallway where their baby took its first ever steps. I get pumped up with each story and want to capture the twinkle of their eye and rosy on their cheeks.

5. Your POSTPARTUM body will appreciate your calm of not reaching somewhere on time.
Because it will be me who needs to pack every gear (wraps, posing beds, dresses, backdrop stand, lighting gear, baskets, to name a few) and be on time for your newborn photoshoot. You and your little one deserve all the comfort you can possibly garner in those special, loved, and uncomfortable moments. Believe me, I know, been through it, twice
6. You don’t need to bring any props / clothes for the session.
The feeling of seeing your raw and fresh newborn baby wrapped in a cuddly WRAP, placed on a posing prop will give you flutters in the belly. Your artsy photographer, that’s me, will bring everything. You got to bring milk, lots of milk. That’s it!
