Family Session FAQs
What should we wear?
We recommend a cohesive colour palette rather than matching outfits — think complementary tones like cream, warm grey, and soft blue. Avoid logos and busy patterns. We send a detailed styling guide after booking to help with this.
How long is a family session?
Most family sessions run 1–2 hours. This gives time for group shots, sibling combinations, individual portraits, and some candid play. We never rush — children take time to warm up, and some of the best images come near the end.
How do you handle young children who won't cooperate?
This is totally normal and something we are very experienced with! We use games, gentle bribes (bubbles, snacks), and patience. We never force a pose and always capture the genuine moments between attempts — which are often the most beautiful.
Can we include pets?
Absolutely! Pets are family too. For studio sessions, please let us know in advance. Outdoor sessions are generally easier for pet inclusion. We just ask that your pet is comfortable around people and on a lead when not photographed.
